    Faith Bible Institute

    Faith Baptist Institute (FBI) is a through the Bible course designed for every Christian. Students may study chronologically through the ENTIRE BIBLE & systematically through every major Christian doctrine. Yet, basic classes meet only 1 evening each week.  FBI combines solid Bible teaching with an interactive video format utilizing student workbooks, transparencies, slides, charts, maps, and visuals to produce a life changing learning experience.

    The Basic 3 year course is divided into 6 semesters of 17 to 18 weeks each. Live classes are filmed at FBI's central location (Rowland Road Baptist Church, Monroe, LA) and are then viewed by video tape 2 weeks later at U.S. Extension Schools and 1 year later at international Extension Schools.

    Faith Baptist Academy

    Faith Baptist Academy (FBA) is a ministry offered for the members of Faith Baptist Church. We offer a full line of ABEKA video curriculum for grades K5-12. Our purpose is to help parents obey the commands of Scripture.

    Deuteronomy 6:5-7, "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

    Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

    Teaching is training. Training for life must include training for eternity. Our goal is to train Christian youth of every ability in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship. Faith Baptist Academy is the Church in action and is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity. The school staff works closely with the parents to train the whole child. We stand without apology for the old-time Gospel and the highest standards of morality and Christian behavior.

    We believe that God has clearly commanded us to train our children in His ways according to His Word. We believe that Jesus Christ is to have the preeminence in all things. Therefore, the education of our children must be Christ centered. For it to be Christ centered, it must be Christian education.     Sunday School

    We believe that Sunday school is a vital part of Christian growth. In an effort to provide biblically sound instruction applicable to all age groups, we offer Sunday school classes for 3-5 year olds, graded Sunday School classes for children in the first through sixth grades, a youth class for grades 7-12 and a class open to all adults. These classes begin each Sunday at 9:45 AM.

    Foundation Builders

    The Foundation Builders' class is a Sunday School class for adults who have been recently saved or, having been saved sometime in the past, desire to strengthen there understanding of the foundation of a Biblical faith. This class literally covers basic Bible truths from A to Z. A nice three-ring binder is provided free of charge to each student and the student note are fill-in-the blank. The relaxed Bible study setting provides ample opportunity for student feedback, questions and general discussion of the topic at hand. By the time a student finishes the series, he or she will have complied nearly 200 pages of notes that will be a useful resource for many years, Students may enroll at any time.

    Junior Church

    Junior Church is an extension of our Sunday school ministry. Like Sunday school, it is divided into age groups. There is a Junior Church for ages 2-3, 3-5 and 6-8. These sessions are held in conjunction with the regular morning worship service. Like the adult worship service, there is singing and biblical lessons. Junior Church is a great opportunity for children to learn about God's Word in terms they understand and in an atmosphere that they can enjoy.

    Nursery

    Nursery services are available for children ages 0-3. This service is provided for every service to include Sunday school and special meetings such as revivals and conferences.

    Singles Fellowship

    We realize that singles are a group of folks that need special consideration, activities and ministries. In an effort to minister to the single community at Misawa, our singles ministry offers regular fellowships, Bible studies and activities that help to provide a "home away from home" atmosphere and give singles opportunities to serve the Lord and develop long-lasting and meaningful friendships.

    Bus Ministry

    For those who require it, transportation is provided to and from church for Sunday morning services. This service is provided free of charge to anyone, including children, who want to attend, but don't have transportation. Contact the church if you need to take advantage of this ministry.

    Visitation and Tract Ministry

    Jesus said, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." At Faith Baptist Church, we consider it a great privilege and opportunity to represent Jesus Christ to our community. We also take His command to "go into all the world" very seriously. As a result, we make an effort to visit every individual or family that visits our services and also to go "from house to house" delivering the Gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering wherever and whenever we can. This ministry provides an opportunity for our members to support other members and help to win souls for Christ.

    Tape Ministry

    Audio tapes of every worship service are available to anyone who desires them. Just sign up for a tape at the back of the auditorium or send an e-mail to the church to request a tape, be sure to include name and address where the tape may be sent.
